We have recently issued our Spring Newsletters to tenants! As usual, they are jam-packed with updates on what's happening within the Association, as well as information on local events and services.
We notified you in February that your rent will increase from 1st April 2024. If you are claiming Universal Credit, then please remember that it is your responsibility to notify the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) of any change of circumstances including changes to your housing costs. To report this change in your online account, we have created this short 'how to' video that takes you through each step.
We have recently sent out a survey on tenant engagement to Ochil View Housing tenants. The purpose of this was to share our current participation opportunities, increase the number of tenants getting involved and explore potential new methods in the future. We are please to now share the outcomes of the survey. As you will see we received a fantastic response, with nearly 30% of tenants responding.
We recently issued our 2023 Annual Performance Report to tenants. This contained information on how well we are performing in relation to services such as repairs and tenant participation. We provided our own performance figures, as well as how we compare to our peers and the Scottish average. Tenants were then invited to comment on the report and provide us with feedback on the information provided. We received a fantastic response from tenants, as well as lots of positive feedback. The Board of Management has recently confirmed that, based on evidence provided, Ochil View Housing Association is fully compliant with the standards, regulatory requirements and obligations set out at national levels. You can now read more on this within our 2023 Annual Assurance Statement, which can be found under our 'Corporate Information' section of our website.
