Paying Your Rent

You must pay your rent weekly in advance.

You can pay by either:

• Standing Order
• "Swipe Card" at any Post Office, Paypoint, Payzone or online. We can give you a list of local places where you can pay
• Sending a cheque to our office.

We will not accept payments at the office unless you cannot use any of the other ways to pay.

We will arrange for a new "Swipe card" to be sent to you at the start of your tenancy. If you want to pay by standing order, we can give you the form you need to tell your bank to pay us.

If you are on a low income, or claiming benefits, you can get Housing Benefit to help you pay the rent. Our staff are trained to give general advice on Housing Benefit and we can refer you to agencies that can give you expert advice and assistance in making a claim.
