Estate Management / ASB issues and information

Our stock in Clackmannan is managed by Marian Kelley, Linda Ure and Sandra Marshall.

Marian’s priority is to reduce anti-social behaviour in her Alloa and Sauchie estates at present however she will continue to regularly inspect her other estates and any issues should be reported to her.

Sandra's day to day work in housing management covers a variety of issues, but below are some of the priorities of the job which remain constant and which require information and communication from local residents.

Key Priorities for Estate Management

Encourage individual tenants to keep their own garden areas tidy.

Encourage residents to take care of communal and shared areas in their estates

I would ask residents to report any matters to me and this can be done anonymously.

Key Priorities for Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour

Encourage residents to report anti-social behaviour as soon as possible and also to report situations to the police as they are happening. Ochil View shares information with the police and by working together we can be more effective in dealing with anti-social behaviour.

If something has happened in the street or an open area, do not assume that someone else has told us – make sure you let us know.

Linda’s Anti-social Behaviour and Estate Management Priorities over the next few months include:

1. Carrying out estate inspections.
2. Inspection of closes and bin store areas, particularly at Old Mill Lane, Oakley and St. Mungo’s Wynd, Alloa.
3. Dog fouling in communal areas at Burleigh Way, Alloa.

If you would like further information or wish to discuss any estate management issue please contact Tel:  01259 722899 or enquires@ochilviewha.co.uk

Local Investment Plans

Investment Plans

Ochil View is investing almost £6m during 2011-20 12  on new build developments and improvement and repairs to our existing properties.

• £3.5M is progressing our developments at Todd’s Yard and Greygoran in Sauchie.  We expect these to be ready for letting in Spring 2012.

• £1.5M is funding bathroom, boiler, door and window replacements in our existing stock and external decoration.

• £1M is used to respond to repair requests

Our investment proposals for 2012 -2013 will be presented to our Committee and will include a continuation of our bathroom, kitchen, boiler, window and door replacements.  This work ensures that the Association’s stock meets the Scottish Housing Quality Standard.

The Committee will consider whether the Association should continue to construct new houses during 2012 -13.
