Development Programme

The Association has been awarded an allocation of Housing Association Grant (HAG) from Communities Scotland of £2.757m for 2005/06.

This will enable the Association to continue with it's development of 33 flats at the Thistle Brewery site in Alloa. It is anticipated that the flats will be available for rent early in 2006.

We also hope to purchase and start to build on a site in Coalsnaughton which would provide a mixture of 25 properties for rent and ownership. We estimate that this development will be complete late in 2006.

We plan to acquire and develop a site at Preston Street, High Valleyfield in West Fife which would provide a mixture of 23 houses for rent and ownership. We estimate that this development will be complete late in 2006.

We hope to acquire sites at Coalgate, Alloa and Wardlaw Way, Oakley towards the end of the year. These sites will be developed at a later date.

We hope to be involved in the regeneration of Alloa South & East and in particular the developments at Elmgrove. We also are in the process of regenerating the Newmills site in Tullibody and already the flatted properties there have been demolished to make way for new housing.
